Amcorp's position of strength in the nation's financial services sector is reflected in its strategic stake in AMMB Holdings Berhad (“AmBank Group”), RCE Capital Berhad (“RCE”) and ECM Libra Financial Group Berhad (“ECM”).

AMMB Holdings Berhad
AMMB Holdings Berhad, or more commonly known as AmBank Group, is principally involved in investment banking, business banking, retail banking, Islamic banking and insurance services. Acquired by Tan Sri Azman Hashim in 1982, AmBank Group has flourished under his leadership and grown to become the 5th largest banking group in Malaysia by asset size. It is also the first local bank to tie-up with a foreign partner, namely Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) Banking Group. Amcorp is currently the second largest shareholder of AmBank Group.

RCE Capital Berhad
RCE's core business is in the provision of personal loans through strategic tie-ups with cooperatives via its wholly-owned subsidiary namely RCE Marketing Sdn Bhd ("RCEM"). RCEM employs a unique distribution-collection mechanism whereby repayments by borrowers are done via the government-initiated Salary Deduction Scheme.

RCE, via RCE Factoring Sdn Bhd ("RCEF"), is also involved in the provision of confirming, factoring and industrial hire purchase facilities to small medium enterprises in the trading, manufacturing and construction sectors.

    M&A Services include corporate advisory and consulting services. It has over the years assisted companies within the Group on mergers and acquisitions, listings on stock exchanges, corporate debt restructuring and in raising funds through debt and equity markets.
  2. Debt & Fixed Income
    Through Fulcrum Capital Sdn Bhd, a licensed moneylender, the Capital Markets Division provides companies with access to financial markets by arranging loans.
  3. Strategic Investments
    Strategic investments are undertaken whenever there is potential to generate synergies for the Amcorp Group and exploit capital gains in the mid-term.
