Amprop’s subsidiary, Old Burlington Limited (“OBL”), via joint venture with NL (Pollen) Ltd, a London property group and HPL (Mayfair) Pte Ltd, a Singapore investment holding company owns the freehold property at 29–30 Old Burlington Street, London. Delivery of the new and elite Burlington Gate, to be one of London’s most sought after residential development, is targeted for 2016.
Amprop has also entered into a joint venture with Hotel Properties Ltd, UK based developers Grosvenor and Native Land for the redevelopment of Campden Hill. The project, known as Holland Park Villa, is located in the vicinity of the prime High Street Kensington district in Central London. Holland Park Villa will comprise of 72 units of 1-6 bed private apartments.
Bankside Quarter (Jersey) Ltd (“Bankside”) is a joint venture between Amprop, Singapore’s Temasek, Hotel Properties Ltd and Native Land, to develop Sampson House and Ludgate House in London’s South Bank, along River Thames. The project is located close to Blackfriars railway and underground station.
Amprop entered the Japanese real estate in 2015 through its maiden project, Forest Nanpeidai, and this is immediately followed by Court Annex Roppongi. Both projects are located in Tokyo.
Over the years, Amprop has built a credible track record with projects ranging across all sectors of the property industry, including commercial, industrial and residential projects. Currently, its property services are mainly undertaken by its subsidiaries namely Amcorp Prima Realty Sdn Bhd (“AMPR”) and HDCam Sdn Bhd (“HDC”).
AMPR is the developer of a gated, low-density exclusive bungalow development project known as Kayangan Heights located within the Selangor’s capital city, Shah Alam. In April 2013, Kayangan Heights was awarded the Malaysia Landscape Architecture Awards (“MLAA”) Excellence Award by the Institute of Landscape Architects Malaysia (“ILAM”) under the Property Developer Awards in Landscape Planning & Development Category.
HDC is involved in the development of Sibu Jaya, a model township showcasing a combination of city amenities with countryside qualities. Sibu Jaya’s Pearl Avenue Residential Homes was a nominee for the Best Residential Development Award at the South East Asia Property Awards.
Amcorp’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Melawangi Sdn Bhd, is the developer of a commercial centre in Petaling Jaya, Selangor known as the “Amcorp Trade Centre”. The vibrant Amcorp Trade Centre comprises office towers, a shopping mall and business & serviced suites.
Blue Star M&E Engineering Sdn Bhd (“Blue Star”) is the result of a joint-venture between Amprop and Blue Star Ltd, India. Blue Star M&E Engineering is ISO 9001:2008 certified and it specializes in turnkey solutions to meet the mechanical and electrical needs of building services and industrial plants. It has to its credit many large-scale air-conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration installations.
AMBC Transmission Sdn Bhd (“AMBCT”) is a turnkey contractor for power substations and transmission lines ranging from 11kV to 500kV. Besides Malaysia, AMBCT was also previously awarded contract works by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) for the construction of substations and related earthworks in Dubai.
Amcorp Perting Hydro Sdn Bhd (“Amcorp Perting 6MW Mini Hydro Power Plant”) is the producer of hydro energy. It commenced operations in 2009 as a 4MW plant at Sungai Perting in Bentong, Pahang. The plant successfully upgraded to 6MW in 2015.
Amcorp Gemas 10.25MW Solar Power Plant located in Gemas, Negeri Sembilan, was commissioned in December 2013. The plant was selected by Frost & Sullivan as the recipient of the 2015 Malaysia Best Practices Award which carries the distinguished title of Malaysia Solar Systems Company of the Year.
In 2015, Amcorp Power Sdn Bhd signed renewable energy power purchase agreements (REPPA) with Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) for the supply and delivery of 20MW renewable energy to be generated by the Sungai Liang 20MW Mini Hydro Power Plant in Raub, Pahang, which will be jointly developed and operated with TNB.
