Yayasan Azman Hashim Donates School Bus To Kuen Cheng High School

10 February 2020, Petaling Jaya – Yayasan Azman Hashim (YAH), a non-profit charitable organization founded by Tan Sri Azman Hashim donates a new school bus worth RM315,213 to Kuen Cheng High School, Kuala Lumpur. (Kuen Cheng)

The 31 seaters school bus will be used to transport the students to and from the school on an average school day and alternatively used for student field trips and excursions.

In 2015, YAH donated RM3 million to Kuen Cheng for their school redevelopment plan programme project. The funds were used for the construction of a duplex library building.

In 2016, Tan Sri Azman Hashim (TSAH) further donated RM200k towards the same cause at the school’s 108th year Anniversary Gala Dinner.

Kuen Cheng was established in 1908 and is a Private Independent Chinese Secondary School located in the midst of Kuala Lumpur along Jalan Syed Putra. The school was formerly known as Kuen Cheng Girls’ High School. In 2008, it transitioned from all-girls school to a co-ed system to embrace diversity.
