Petaling Jaya, 6 October 2016 – Yayasan Azman Hashim (YAH) in collaboration with Amcorp Group Berhad (Amcorp) has donated 6 units of the Hillcrest Residences condominium located in Bukit Jambul, Penang for the purpose of setting up the Azman Hashim Endowment Fund (AHEF). The condo units, with an estimated value of RM5.52 million will be used by USM to generate rental income, which in turn will be used to provide financial assistance in the form of scholarships / loans to deserving undergraduate students of USM.

The Hillcrest Residences, located within close proximity to USM, is a 5.4-acre luxury high-rise residential development majestically perched on top of Bukit Jambul, approximately 5.75m (188 feet) above sea level. It offers residents a panoramic view of surrounding elegant neighbourhoods, a lush green designer golf-course, an award-winning 5-star international hotel and also overlooks the scenic Melaka Straits Channel.

Hillcrest’s strategic hill and coastal location makes it easily accessible through Jelutong Expressway, Penang Bridge, Lebuhraya Bayan Lepas and its only 6 minutes’ drive to the Penang International Airport.
